An Important Exhibition at OAL X Space

Ohio Art League X Space Gallery is pleased to present Perceptions, Reflections on Black Lives: A Group Exhibition curated by David Michael Butler. Butler has selected from a collective of nationally and locally known artists who present dynamic and compelling works from abstraction, to digital, to conceptual, to representational for a group show on the role of visual art in the social justice movement. The artists featured include Jelise Roberts, David Brame, Richard Duarte Brown, Gaye Reissland, and David Michael Butler.

The exhibition will be on display from Friday, February 5-Sunday, February 28, 2016Always free and open to the public.

Opening Reception: February 12 from 7:00-10:00 pm

Visual Perceptions: a discussion on the role of visual art in the social justice movement with Dr. Treva B. Lindsey and David Butler on Wednesday, February 17 from 7:00-9:00 pm

Vocal Perceptions: Performance based reflections on February 26 from 7:00-9:00 pm. 

All events will be held in the exhibition space at OAL X Space at 400 W. Rich Street in Franklinton.

Ohio Art League X Space Gallery hours:
